Ever wondered why some suit pockets are sewn shut? Business Insider has the answer. Sewn pockets apparently keep the suits looking fresh, as putting your hands inside can stretch the fabric's shape. Some pockets are on there for decorative purposes, as well. Removing the stitching will just leave you with a hole. If the stitching is hard to remove, it's probably not a real pocket.
