Manchester United 2-3 Tottenham Hotspur

Jan Vertonghen, Gareth Bale and Clint Dempsey all scored goals as Tottenham secured a historic victory at Old Trafford this evening, holding of a United fightback to win 3-2.

After the match, Andre Villas-Boas hailed his side's performance, having led Spurs to their first victory at United since 1989.
