A video has emerged of a Portuguese man o' war spotted on a beach in Perranporth, UK on November 16.

The footage shows the dangerous animal floating in a pool of water on the beach.

One of the people present at the scene can be scene touching the animal although their sting can be extremely painful.

He can be heard saying: "They feel different to a jellyfish."
