At least 20 people were killed on November 21 by a truck bomb that exploded in a market in the northern Iraqi town of Tuz Khurmatu.
Reuters, citing local officials, said a suicide bomber detonated the device. At least 40 people were wounded, they said.
Tuz Khurmatu was one of the towns that fell under the control of Iraqi forces during a mid-October operation in Kurdish areas in the wake of the region’s independence referendum.
