In a first of its kind, a Mumbai court wavered off the cooling off period in a divorce case. Earlier the apex court has directed that the cooling off period be wavered off in a divorce case as it only adds to the trauma of the couple. The ruling was handed in a case of a woman who was suffering from cancer and had demanded that the cooling off period be wavered off as her marriage was already dead .
