This video is about "EGG DROP SOUP"
NOTE:- can add a pinch of turmeric to brighten the colour of the soup and have it's health benefits. [OPTIONAL]
INGREDIENTS:
REFRIGERATED:
1 - egg
PRODUCE:
1 - ginger [fresh][slice]
1 - chives [fresh][half-handful]
1 - spring onion / scallion [fresh][sliced]
CONDIMENTS:
1 tsp - kosher salt
BAKING:
1 tbsp - corn flour
HERBS & SPICES:
1 tsp - pepper
LIQUIDS:
2 & 1/2 cups - chicken stock
3-4 tbsp - water
STEP BY STEP.
In a pan:
-add scallion.
-add chives.
-add ginger.
STEP BY STEP.
Further in the pan ;)
-add chicken stock.
-put the pan on fire.
-bring it boil.
-lower the flame.
STEP BY STEP.
In a small bowl:
-put 1tbsp corn flour.
-add water (2-3 spoon)
-mix it well so that no lumps are left.
STEP BY STEP.
Back in the pan:
- add corn flour mixture.
-let it shimmer for 3-4 mins.
STEP BY STEP.
In a bowl:
-break an egg.
-whisk it.
STEP BY STEP.
Back to the pan:
-spoon by spoon add the whisked egg mixture.
-1 spoon at a time.
-after finishing all spoons, let it shimmer for a minute.
-blow off the fire.
-pour the soup in a soup bowl & enjoy :)
