Artigiano della rima, maniscalco della metrica, dalla tenera età di 13 anni non ha mai smesso di scrivere musica e parole, sempre e in ogni luogo: case, spiagge, semafori rossi (a volte anche verdi), fermate dell’autobus. Dopo una lunga militanza negli Alfaprivativo , dal 2011 ha lanciato il suo progetto cantautoriale che cerca di unire l’ironia e l’intimità dei testi a un linguaggio musicale aperto a varie influenze. In questi anni ha già calcato numerosi palchi della capitale (contestaccio, Lanificio, Altroquando, Rising Love, Circolo degli artisti, Locanda Atlantide) con una formazione modulare: da solo chitarra e voce, oppure con una band di supporto adattabile a seconda dei contesti. Tom Armati ci canta canzoni che fanno sorridere e ogni tanto anche riflettere.

A settembre uscirà il suo EP, in cui sarà accompagnato dalla band, i DisArmati.

After having played in the band called Alfaprivativo, Tom started his solo project in 2011.
His songs are both ironical and somehow related to social issues.
On september his first Ep will be released. The band DisArmati consists in several musicians that join Tom on stages each time up to the situation.
