Record snowfall in Erie, Pennsylvania, continued to accumulate on Tuesday, December 26, with an additional 1.5 inches falling. More than 54 inches of snow have fallen since midnight Christmas, the National Weather Service said.
The storm started around 7pm on Christmas Eve, and 56.5 inches of snow since then. Another 5-10 inches was expected through Wednesday, the weather service said.
