A man took to the flooded streets of Honolulu on Tuesday, December 26, with a surfboard as much of the capital was placed under a flash flood warning due to widespread rain
Two videos posted on Kanai Sharsh’s Facebook page show him paddling navigating down a street in the Hawaii capital on a surfboard, and going without the oar for a classic wave.
The National Weather Service issued flood advisories that day as heavy rains battered the state, with several road closures reported around Honolulu as downpour was recorded at three to four inches an hour. The Flash Flood Watch in Oahu, Kauai and Molokai was to remain in effect until the next morning. Credit: Facebook/Kanai Sharsh via Storyful
