Southbound lanes of US 31 near Muskegon, Michigan, were shut down on Friday, December 29, after roughly 40 vehicles were involved in a pileup.
According to WOOD TV, visibility on the road was close to zero when one car spun out, causing a chain reaction. Three people suffered minor injuries.
