For this New Year 2018, Swedish luxury car manufacturer Volvo will soon commence the local assembly of its estate car, the V90 Cross Country in India.

Currently, Volvo has its assembly plant next to its commercial vehicle manufacturing facility at Hoskote, near Bangalore. The CKD assembly unit is equipped to assemble cars based on the Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA). The V90 Cross Country, S90 sedan and XC60 SUV will be the new vehicles to be assembled in the country.
