A group of Muslim women on Friday staged protest outside the Parliament against Congress for ‘stalling’ the landmark Triple Talaq Bill in Rajya Sabha. These protesting women thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing the bill into consideration but are deeply agitated by Congress for repeatedly opposing the bill and demanding it to be sent to the Standing Committee. The bill was passed in the lower house of the Parliament and is in the upper house. Once it is passed by the Rajya Sabha it will sent to the President for his signature.
