A woman was shot and killed by her estranged husband inside a Walmart store in Starkville, Mississippi, on January 13, according to local reports .

The Clarion Ledger, citing Oktibbeha County Coroner Michael Hunt, named the victim as 42-year-old Shauna Whitt, an optometrist working at Walmart.

She was shot inside the store at 9:35 am and died from her injuries at 10:05 at the Oktibbeha County Hospital, the report said.
