"Masala Corn Recipe"
INGREDIENTS (for 1 person):
PRODUCE:
1 cup – corn kernels.
(fresh raw).
CONDIMENTS:
1 tsp – salt.
HERBS & SPICES:
1 tsp – hot chilli powder.
(It’s totally upto you as how spicy you wanna make, so can raise the amount too).
DAIRY:
1 knob – butter.
(through it’s enough for a cup of corn kernels, but if you like more buttery so take a little more than one knob :P ).
LIQUIDS:
1 cup – water.
(for boiling the raw corn kernels).
MAGIC IINGREDIENTS:
1 tsp – Chaat Masala.
(though it’s easily available but I like to make it my own. Trust me it enhances the taste a lot then regular on that you buy from market. I am sure wanna try so here is the recipe for it below).
Ingredients Of Chaat Masala:
• 1 cup coriander seeds.
• 1 1/4 cups cumin seeds.
• 1/2 cup thymol seeds.
• 1/2 cup mango powder.
• 2 1/2 tsp ground spices.
• 1 1/4 cups powdered black rock salt.
• 4 tsp powdered black pepper.
• 2 tsp (approximately) citric acid.
• 1/2 cup dried and powdered mint leaves
NOTE:- mix together and blend in your grinder. Make sure there shouldn’t be any moisture.
STEP BY STEP:
-In a pan,
-put a cup of raw corn kernels.
-pour a cup of water.
-cover the lid of the pan and put it on flame.
-keep your flame medium and boil it for 6 minutes.
In a meanwhile,
-mix chilli, salt & magic ingredient (chaat masala) evenly.
-Take out from flame, when corn kernels are done.
-drain water and add butter to it.
-as the corn kernels are too hot, the butter will melt easily and get mixed into it.
-add all spices to it that you have already mixed evenly.
-Mix well & serve.
-can add few drops of fresh lemon juice is desired.
