Firefighters were fighting two out-of-control wildfires burning in Royal National Park in Sydney’s south on January 20.
Officials closed the park, and people that were currently in the park were being told to leave only if the path was clear. “Beaches may offer safety,” the NSW Rural Fire Service said.
