A retired rescue dog in Oklahoma City who went missing for at least three hours before being found under the decking at his owner’s home was rescued by former firefighter colleagues on January 24.
Salsa, a rescue dog who retired from the Oklahoma City Fire Department in November 2017 after over nine years of service, went missing from his handler’s home.
When his handler returned home after three hours of searching, he heard Salsa calling for help from under the deck on the side of his house.
