If you find yourself in the middle of a lake wrapped up in your sleeping bag, you might have to come to terms with the fact that you're not the best camper. Fortunately, the good folks over at Nikwax have a way to solve that problem. They've developed a water-resistant "Hydrophobic Down" spray that you apply to sleeping bags and jackets so that they don't absorb water and retain their shape. Still, we don't recommend using the sleeping bag to actually float down a river.
