धनबाद में सरायढ़ेला मार्ग पर स्थित है भूईंफोड़ मंदिर। यहां पर पिछले दो सौ साल से भगवान शिव की पूजा हो रही है। करीब 60 साल पहले मंदिर का निर्माण हुआ था। कहा जाता है कि यहां शिवलिंग भूमि फोड़कर निकला था। इसके बाद इस मंदिर का नाम भूईंफोड़ मंदिर पड़ा।
