Welcome to Wonderhussy Adventure #187!

Exploring inside a partially restored navy ship at Mare Island in Vallejo, CA: the USS LCS (L) (3) 102, a "Mighty Midget." It was really interesting to me to see the conditions these guys lived in....packed in like sardines!

This ship was built in Portland, OR, and commissioned on February 17, 1945...just in time for WWII Pacific Theater duty including the Battle of Okinawa.
