BEIT SHEAN, ISRAEL — An Iranian drone was shot down on Saturday morning in northern Israel by the Israeli military.
According to the Times of Israel, the drone was destroyed by an Israeli Apache helicopter that engaged it after it flew inside Israeli airspace.
The aircraft is said to be a Iranian Saeqeh, drone, also known as Thunderbolt. This model is based on the American RQ-170 Sentinel spy drone, according to the Times of Israel. Both models bare resemblance to the B-2 stealth bomber .
