President Moon Jae-in says the United States has expressed a willingness to talk to North Korea.
He made remarks during a summit Tuesday with his Latvian counterpart,... where he asked for Latvia's support for efforts toward a resumption of dialogue between Washington and Pyongyang.
The Latvian leader recognized the South Korean leader's efforts to make the 2018 event an "Olympics for Peace."
He said the recent visit to the South by the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was meaningful in that it sent out a strong message from the regime to the rest of the world.
