Bill Paxton's Family Files Wrongful
Death Suit Paxton died on Feb. 25, 2017 at the age of 61 after undergoing heart surgery. In the suit, his family alleges the surgeon used an "unconventional surgical approach," which resulted in the late actor's death. Bruce Broillet, Paxton family attorney (CNN) Paxton's death certificate lists his cause of death as stroke after heart surgery, according to CNN. Paxton starred in notable films such as Titanic, Twister and The Terminator.
