On 19 of November 2014, the pop-culture magazine Rolling Stone published an article titled ‘A rape on campus: A Brutal Assault and Struggle for Justice at University of Virginia’ that reported a dramatic sexual assault on a college campus. The story prompted student protests and led to the suspension of fraternities at the college. ​
