Rupee closes at a record low of 64.04

Rupee on Wednesday touched an all time low to close at 64.04 against the dollar. Reserve Bank of India said it will inject Rs8,000 crore in the banking system by a bond buyback to ease liquidity. Mint's Dinesh Unnikrishnan tells more about the bond-buying program
