Nitya Menon who loves to portray a different kind of roles recently appeared as a lesbian in Nani's production debut 'Awe' movie. Director Teja approached Nitya and asked her to play the role of NTR's wife Basavataarakam in the movie. But Nitya rejected the offer. She gave clarity to the media that she doesn't have any controversial reasons to say NO to the script. She added that she explained why she is willing to take up that role to the makers and they have understood it. It seems like Nitya has been getting so many offers from the industry. She is yet to give her nod to another Telugu project after Awe. But she is currently busy in preparing her own script. She claimed that she is planning to direct her film and become a successful lady director.
