New Stoke City boss Paul Lambert insists it "wouldn't matter if I was 15th choice" after taking charge at the Bet365 Stadium. Lambert was in the frame for the role alongside Martin O'Neill, Quique Sanchez Flores and Gary Rowett, amongst others, but admits he was delighted to be given the chance to return to the Premier League.
