Satellite imagery shows North Korea's nuclear reactor in Yongbyon may have restarted -- which could mean the regime is again producing plutonium for its nuclear weapons program.
U.S.-based North Korea monitoring website 38 North says a five megawatt electrical reactor is showing signs of operation,... with steam vapor plumes visible... and nearby ice melt.
But since no cooling water discharges could be seen, 38 North suggests the vapor plumes may be not be related to reactor operations... OR the regime may have extended the water discharge pipe into a nearby river to conceal its movements.
A military tent camp has also installed at the facility... and increased personnel have been observed as well.
The South Korean military says it's keeping a close eye on military movements north of the border with help from the U.S.
