Texas Doctor Found Stabbed and Shot to Death in Own Home; Police Interview Ex of Murdered Texas Doctor's Girlfriend; Man Goes on Trial for Having Rival Doctor Killed in Love Triangle
This documentary goes to Lubbock, Texas, to investigate the July 2012 murder of pathologist Joseph Sonnier. Police uncover a love triangle and arrest plastic surgeon Thomas Michael Dixon. Prosecutors argue that Dixon hired his friend Dave Shepard to kill Sonnier in order to punish or get back at an ex-girlfriend Sonnier was dating. Shepard accepted a plea deal and testified against Dixon who was convicted of murder.
