Fighting ongoing as Turkish-backed rebels advance on Afrin

Fighting was ongoing in the Syrian village of al-Jalameh on Monday between Kurdish militia, and Turkish forces and allied Syrian rebels, as they are advancing towards the flashpoint town of Afrin, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
