Guards with batons strike Chelsea fans at Barcelona’s Camp Nou moments before last night's Champions League match.
In nearly a minute's worth of footage captured by Robert Marsden, a security guard can be seen bringing down a baton forcefully on a fan on Wednesday (March 14) in an enclosed walkway leading to the stadium.
Speaking to Newsflare from Barcelona shortly before boarding a flight back to London, Marsden said that the fans were only singing in the enclosure and that the attack was unprovoked.
Marsden later wrote online that the incident "caused a stampede/push and was completely unnecessary and aggressive."
Chelsea FC has urged fans to report any incidents before and after the match.
Chelsea went on to lose 4-1 on aggregate in the Round of 16 tie.
