Well, in the latest the families of the victims have now alleged that their lawyer had duped them of more than 1 crore rupees. The families said that advocate S Tamilarasan who represented them in the high court allegedly made them sign some cheques and deducted Rs 2.3 lakh from their respective accounts. The families have now urged the Madras court to intervene. The court has warned the advocate of dire consequences and directed Tamilarasan to return the money. The court will now hear the matter on April 9.
