At least 29 people were killed in Afghanistan on Wednesday after a suicide bomber blew himself up near Kabul University.
Officials say the attacker was trying to reach the capital's Sakhi shrine, where hundreds were gathered to celebrate the Persian New Year, known as Nowruz.
He was said to have detonated his vest after security forces identified him just before reaching the shrine.
Nearly 60 people have been injured and officials fear the death toll could rise.
The bombing, claimed by the Islamic State group, is just the latest in a string of attacks to rock Kabul since the start of the year.
