Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday visited the Chamundeshwari temple in Mysuru. He was accompanied by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and few other state unit leaders. This is not the first time the Congress president has rushed to a temple, earlier during the Gujarat Assembly elections, he had started his campaign from the historic Somnath temple.  He visited more temples in the campaign in what was highlighted as an attempt to win over Gujarat's Hindu voters.
