Taxis blocked major streets at rush hour in Brussels on March 27 in protest over proposals which would see Ubers given the same status as taxis.
The demonstration began at 5 am, with main roads leading into the capital blocked, according to reports.
Airport access was also restricted.
The Belgian Taxi Federation called for the minister for transport to resign over the new proposals.
