Thousands of teachers and their supporters marched on the Kentucky State Capitol on Monday, April 2, in opposition to a recently-passed pension reform bill.
State lawmakers also started budget deliberations on Monday, which the group also expressed concerns about.
Hundreds of people were inside the capitol building, but many more filled the lawn outside the building. At least 5,000 people were expected for the protest, a news report said.
