More than a hundred million Indonesians voted on Wednesday in the legislative election that will also determine which parties can put forward a candidate for the presidential election. Joko Widodo, or Jokowi as he is affectionately known, is the clear favorite in spite of his lack of experience. But the FT's Ben Bland says that whoever wins will face a growing list of problems from growing demand for jobs to endemic corruption.
