John Krasinksi's "A Quiet Place" opened with a large 50 million dollars in ticket sales, for the year's second-best debut after "Black Panther." The Paramount Pictures thriller far exceeded expectations, and landed one of the top opening weekends for a horror release. Krasinski's third directing effort, stars himself and wife Emily Blunt. The flick is about a family in a future dystopia, which is populated by violent creatures with extremely acute hearing trying to kill humans.
