A school bus crash in northern India has killed at least 23 children, some as young as four years old, as well as four adults.
Monday's accident also left 11 children injured - two of whom are in critical condition.
Initial reports indicated the bus driver was speeding as he took the children home and lost control, plunging more than 60 meters from a mountain road into a gorge in the Himalayan foothills.
Fatal accidents are common in India, which is notorious for reckless driving and lack of safety measures.
