Vili Fualaau’s Car Crash Victim Considers Slamming Him With Lawsuit

Mary Kay Letourneau’s husband was arrested for a DUI in February after crashing into two cars – and now he could be in even more legal hot water as a result of allegedly driving while intoxicated behind the wheel.
That’s because one of the victims is considering filing a lawsuit against him, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
Vili Fualaau, 34, rammed into two cars stopped at a traffic light in Burien, Washington, and the victims immediately called authorities while the infamous sex teacher’s estranged hubby remained in the car, exhibiting what they described as unusual behavior, according to 911 audio previously published by Radar.
One of the crash victims, Terrence Young, has retained an attorney who told Radar that her client plans to file a civil suit, if necessary.
“He has made a claim with Vili’s insurance,” said Cheryl Farrish. “I would think it would be something Vili’s insurance would want to settle. It’s ideal if they admit that the driver is at fault, especially in a DUI case.”
It may be too early to tell, but he is keeping his options open, Farrish said.

Cops reportedly observed his bloodshot eyes, dazed expression and slurred speech as he agreed to take a breathalyzer test. But just before the test was administered his wife, Letourneau, arrived on the scene and told him to wait for their attorney.

A blood test was administered at the police station two hours later, and his blood alcohol level was reportedly .08, which is the legal limit. He also had THC in his system.
According to the King County District Court clerk’s office, Fualaau has officially been charged with DUI, but he hasn’t yet entered a plea.
The next hearing is scheduled for May 8 where he will enter a plea or the case will go to trial.
