Western powers have once again struck Syrian government targets over their alleged use of chemical weapons. Throughout the seven-year war, the US and Russia have repeatedly switched between diplomacy and military intervention. On 7 April, an alleged chemical attack took place in Douma that Syrian opposition activists and medics say killed more than 40 people. The Syrian government and Russians denied it and said that it was staged and directed by US ally, Britain. Eventually, it's the Syrian people who continue to suffer.
