The opposition led by lead of opposition Ghulam Nabu Azad today moved the impeachment motion against the CJI Dipak Misra. The opponent MPs from the Rajya Sabha met the Rajya Sabha chairman Venkaiah Naidu to move the motion. The move comes following the scathing observation of the Supreme Court which said that the petitioners were colluding with political parties and had maligned the judiciary. As Manyas 71 MPs have signed the impeachment motion against the CJI.
