David Freiheit cooked and tasted a ‘naked’ egg. That’s an egg from which the shell had been dissolved by vinegar, leaving the outer rubbery membrane.
David left the egg in vinegar in the fridge for 22 hours to dissolve the shell. He then pierced the rubbery membrane and cooked the egg. He noticed a mild vinegar smell from the cooked egg, but he and his young son reported that it tasted just fine! Credit: Viva Frei via Storyful
