Thousands of balloons were released on April 29 outside the Liverpool hospital where 23-month-old Alfie Evans died the day before.
Alfie’s parents had been involved in a legal battle over the right to remove their son from Liverpool’s Alder Hey Hospital after a court ruled that doctors could stop treating Evans.
