South Korea's defense ministry is starting the process of dismantling all the high-decibel loudspeakers installed along the border with North Korea.
The measure is part of measures to implement the Panmunjom Declaration,... in which the two Koreas agreed to stop broadcasting propaganda and distributing leaflets along the inter-Korean border from May first.
The South had already halted the anti-Pyongyang broadcasts ahead of the inter-Korean summit.
North Korea has also reportedly suspended its own propaganda broadcasts.
