Airplane enthusiast Tom Pipe witnessed the take-off of the powerful Rockwell B-1 Lancer Bomber from the RAF Fairford air field in Gloucestershire, England.

As the airplane became air bound, nearby car alarms were set off by the sheer force of the vibrating air from the machine. Pipe described the take-off to Storyful: “Awesome moment when a huge heavy B-1 bomber jet ignites the afterburners and takes an age to lift off the deck.
