As the government gears up to present the prestigious National Awards to the 2017 winners, producer Boney Kapoor, with Janhvi and Khushi reached Delhi last night, to receive the award on late actress Sridevi's behalf. Sridevi, who passed away in Dubai this year, was named Best Actress for the revenge drama, MOM. She died at the age of 54, due to accidental drowning in the bathtub,
in her hotel suite. Regarding the award, Boney had said in a statement, "Thank you. I just wish she was here today to see this. We are overjoyed to know that the jury has conferred the best actor award to Sridevi for her performance in Mom. It's a very special moment for all of us."
