A storm chaser followed large tornado as it touched down central Kansas today (May 2).

Close-up footage shows the eye of the storm tearing through a field near Culver.

Further footage, filmed from the inside of the storm chaser’s car, shows the early stages of the tornado.

At least 18 tornadoes have ravaged Kansas in the last few days, reports say.
