More sinkholes opened on Tuesday, May 1, in an Ocala, Florida, neighborhood that had already had evacuations.
Emergency responders were first called to the area on April 25 after holes started opening and causing “water explosions” in a nearby retention pond, a news report said One of the retention ponds has been drained while another has lost water.
