A fire at a chemical plant in Duson, Louisiana, shut down Interstate 10 westbound on May 3, with explosions reported and churning flames visible to motorists, according to a local report quoting police.
The west side of Mire Highway, from I-10 to Solder Road, was evacuated, KATC reported. No injuries were reported.
