Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling more than 325,000 older-model SUVs because of a flaw in their rear lower control arms. The voluntary recall affects Jeep Liberty SUVs from the 2004-07 model years, the company said in a statement Thursday. FCA US is pulling approximately 239,904 SUVs in the U.S., 49,712 in Mexico, and 36,199 outside the NAFTA region. The company said water could build up inside the components and cause corrosion and cracks, which could potentially undermine driver control.
